VEC Annual Conference

VEC held its first annual conference in 2012. Initially VEC’s annual conference focused on water quality; more recently VEC has strived to use its annual conference to focus on a variety of topics relevant to Vermont’s environmental sector. VEC conferences are an opportunity for Vermont environmental professionals to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, and stay update-to-date on current industry topics.

College students are encouraged to attend VEC conferences, as they are a unique chance to learn from industry leaders, engage in discussions about current environmental challenges, and explore potential career opportunities in Vermont.

Professional Trainings

As a VEC Member you can request VEC’s assistance with organizing a professional training for your employees. If there is a training topic your organization or/or the boarder environmental business community would benefit from, you can submit a request at any time.

Environmental Career Panel Discussions

VEC Career Panels provide students with a better understanding of the different opportunities in the environmental field in Vermont, learn firsthand how the career paths of environmental professionals have evolved, and give students advice on how best to market themselves to potential employers. Panels are composed of VEC Members with diverse professional backgrounds within Vermont’s environmental sector. Email info@vectogether.org to inquire about organizing a career panel.
