Vermont Environmental Consortium

10th Annual Conference:
Recent Experience with Brownfields and PCB Contamination

Virtual Conference
June 8-9, 2021 (8:30 am - 1:00 pm)

The Vermont Environmental Consortium is proud to present our Spring 2021 Virtual Conference, which is the 10th conference that we have presented.  Similar to the past several conferences, it is a teamed effort between the VEC and VT DEC, and we have invited other members of state government, private sector consultants and service providers, and RDC members to present.   Unlike the last several conferences, we are straying from Water Quality, and instead focusing on Brownfields Redevelopment.  In addition to providing a VT DEC Brownfield Program overview updates from the VT DEC about new Brownfield funding sources, we will highlight several case studies from across the State.  Finally, we will cover PCBs in Vermont Schools, with a case study on the Burlington High School.   The conference will provide useful information, as well as continuing education credits, to members of the Vermont consulting community, local developers, lenders, attorneys, and government officials.
